Our Mission:

"The Coalition’s mission is to advocate, educate, and raise awareness of the challenges people are facing experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity by providing direct services and resources, while treating them with dignity and respect.”

Our Key Goals:

Advocacy: To actively promote policies and initiatives that address the root causes of homelessness and housing insecurity.

Education: To raise awareness about the challenges faced by those experiencing housing insecurity and/or homelessness, fostering empathy and understanding within the community.

Direct Services: To provide essential resources, including emergency shelter, direct care management, job training, to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in SW Florida.

By working collaboratively with local organizations and community members, we aim to build a resilient network that effectively addresses homelessness in Southwest Florida. Together, we can ensure that everyone has a place to call home.

Homelessness Can Take Many Forms

Homelessness isn’t always visible. While some sleep on the streets, others may live in cars, shelters, or bounce between temporary homes. It can affect anyone—families, youth, seniors—often through circumstances beyond their control. Recognizing the many forms homelessness can take is the first step toward compassion and meaningful solutions.

In Collier County, this year’s Point in Time count, conducted on January 25th and 26th, 2024, tallied 660 individuals experiencing homelessness.
